We fit and certify it
A Safe Electric registered electrician installs and tests your charger, then gives you a completion certificate.

A standard installation includes

The SEAI grant
Get €300 back from the SEAI
- You don't need to own an electric car yet
- You need off-street parking at your home
- One grant per home, linked to your electricity meter (MPRN)
- Your grant offer lasts 6 months
- Work can't start before your offer letter, so we plan your install around it
The EV Home Charger Grant is paid by the SEAI for chargers fitted by a Safe Electric registered electrician.

Good to know
How long does the installation take?
Most standard installations are done in a few hours. Your electrician tells you before they start if your home needs longer.
Which charger will I get?
A smart charger from the SEAI Smart Charger Register, matched to your car and your home. Your quote shows the exact model and its warranty.
How do I pay?
A €500 deposit when you book, which covers your charger. You pay the rest after the installation, once you have seen the finished job.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You have 14 days to cancel and get your deposit back in full. See our terms of sale.
Do you cover my area?
We cover Dublin now, with Longford and nearby counties coming soon.
I rent my home. Can I still get a charger?
Often yes, with your landlord's permission. The SEAI grant can be used at rented homes too.
